Fooling the Forward
by Jacob Chance

It was okay, maybe good for a fast read, there wasn’t a lot of detail or back and forth but it did have a nice ending.

I Must Betray You
by Ruta Sepetys

I was just a baby when the Romania's were fighting for freedom. While a work of historical fiction, it was very interesting to learn about all the things these people went through.

The Dinner List
by Rebecca Serle

Interesting read, really makes you think. I would suggest this to everyone. Reminds me of "The Midnight Library," in five years, or your blue is not my blue

Kill Switch
by Penelope Douglas

Good read, I didn’t think Damon would be able to have his “hero” style book but I’m glad he did.

Snatched
by Karin Slaughter

A quick read! Great story, but it is about child abduction/trafficking, so beware.

Good Bad Girl
by Alice Feeney

Wow! Great book! Just when you think you have it figured out, another curveball.

The Extraordinary Life Of Sam Hell
by Robert Dugoni

This was an outstanding book! Highly recommend. It's a wonderful story of a young mans life growing up in a small town with an unusual physical chararecteristic abd his life trying to deal with it. (Almost reminds me of a Christmas Story)

Counting The Cost
by Jill Duggar

First book (Libby listen) of 2024! I went through a hot second phase loving (being intrigued by) the Duggars over a decade ago, and love Jill's honesty and gwortj. Her story is powerful: how Christianity is twisted, what true faith is, creating boundaries, and a truly brave young woman. Also just wild to hear the sick behind the scenes.

No One Is Talking About This
by Patricia Lockwood

This was gifted to me, which was good because I wouldn't have bought it myself. It follows a woman who has fallen into social media fame, sucked into a materialistic, shallow culture and a tragedy that pulls her back into meaningful real life. There were some genuine and beautiful parts, but overall hard to read as it was a choppy (poetic?) style.

The Mothers
by Brit Bennett

I loved this. A story about complex relationships, generational differences, gossip in a tight knit community, a love triangle, and how the deep secrets cause effects for years to come. Beautifully written while covering controversial and deep topics.
